Susie and Lars always got on really well, but they haven’t seen each other in the six months since Susie’s year-long relationship blew up brutally and publicly (that story is shown in the prequel novella, Beginning of the End which isn’t necessary to read, but will provide some immediate context). Susie has inherited her aunt’s house and she’s starting renovations when she gets a huge surprise – her contractor shows up and it’s her ex-boyfriend’s best friend, Lars.
I love this book! A fun, witty, sexy and heartfelt friends-to-lovers romance that really gets you thinking when our outspoken heroine is faced with some very intriguing questions – what if you found out that you were fated to marry somebody who is only a friend? And what if you knew that it was destined to fall apart?
